The Children Who Loved Books spreads the love for libraries #NYR2012
June 25th, 2012Last year Peter Carnavas illustrated an Angus-and-Lucy (characters from The Children Who Loved Books) themed certificate for Moreton Bay Regional Libraries in Brisbane as part of their Readup program which encourages under 8s to become regular library visitors. Last week Peter held a day of workshops at one of the libraries. The program has been a huge success already. Over 3,000 children have joined up to the libraries as part of the program. We are so thrilled!
Peter’s latest book continues to spread the love for libraries. The Children Who Loved Books was released on June 1 2012 and has just been reprinted to meet the demand. Congratulations Peter!
