Productions of Sarah's Heavy Heart & Last Tree in the city to tour Queensland schools in 2014
November 7th, 2013We are delighted that two of Peter Carnavas’s picture books, Sarah’s Heavy Heart and Last Tree in the City, will be adapted for the stage and touring Queensland schools throughout 2014.
Adapted from Peter Carnavas’s beautiful picture book,Sarah’s Heavy Heart swells into a whimsical production filled with movement, music and life. Students will discover a sense of emotional understanding as they empathise with Sarah and share the weight of her heavy heart.
This production will be touring Queensland schools from Term 1 2014 throughout the year. Bookings and further information here.
Adapted from the pages of Peter Carnavas’s adored picture book, Last Tree in the City, Dead Puppet Society brings Edward and his city to life using their unique brand of puppet-based visual theatre.
Last Tree in the City explore themes of sustainability, the environment and active citizenship through puppetry and storytelling
