Mark Carthew selected as a 2014 Ambassador for YABBA
June 12th, 2014Congratulations to Mark Carthew who has been selected as a 2014 Ambassador for the Young Australians Best Book Awards (YABBA) Author-in-Schools project.
This project is funded by Copyright Agency (CAL) and funds a number of Authors and illustrators to visit Victorian schools.
YABBA’s goal is to have Authors and Illustrators spread the YABBA message of Victorian children Recommending, Reading, Rating and Rewarding Australian books. The Ambassadors Project encourages children to read Australian books and participate in the 2014 YABBA Awards process by voting later in the year.
Mark Carthew is the author of Five Little Owls and The Gobbling Tree.
