International Book Giving Day
February 11th, 2014International Book Giving Day is dawning and the team here at New Frontier will be leaving books all around Sydney to celebrate! On the 14thFebruary, instead of giving your loved one a rose, why not give them a book? After all, a book does not wilt, it does not require watering and it doesn’t bring on that awful bout of hay fever that ruins what could have been a romantic date.
Don’t just take our word for it.
“The person, be it gentleman or lady, who has not pleasure in a good novel, must be intolerably stupid.” Jane Austen
“Books are the ultimate Dumpees: put them down and they’ll wait for you forever; pay attention to them and they always love you back.” John Green
“Never trust anyone who has not brought a book with them.” Lemony Snicket
Make your loved ones happy this Valentine’s Day by giving them a book they can treasure forever.
Here are three simple ways to take part in International Book Giving Day.
